Hello, friends.

You may be wondering why I called you here today.  Truth be known, I wish I knew how I ended up here myself.  Following a stint as a studio artist and educator engaged in mixed-media sculpture, video installation, drawing, painting and performance, I found myself in the MA/PhD program in Film and Media Studies at UC Santa Barbara.  My current research explores theming, animation, myth and the prehistoric, and attempts to merge scholarly and studio practices.
